In association football signings this week, on Wednesday English football club Manchester United F.C. announced the signing of Armenian midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan from German club Borussia Dortmund; and on Thursday Spanish club Málaga CF announced signing striker Sandro Ramírez from FC Barcelona.
Mkhitaryan joins Manchester United[]
The Armenian captain signed a four-year contract with Manchester United, which was the third signing under José Mourinho this season. In his contract, Mhkitarayan has an option to continue with The Red Devils for the fifth season.

After agreeing to the terms Henrikh Mkhitaryan said, “I am very proud to join Manchester United, this move is a dream come true for me.”
Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke explained the transfer saying, “Manchester had made us an exceptionally generous offer. If we had not taken them up on it, then the player would have gone a year later in 2017 on a free transfer.”((de))
Mkhitaryan is the third signing of the club this season.
Sandro is Málaga’s new striker[]
Málaga CF signed 20-year-old striker Sandro Ramírez on a three-year term from Barcelona.
