Carlos Zambrano scores his first Marlins win

Two days ago, at Minute Maid Park in Houston, Venezuelan baseball player Carlos Zambrano scored his first win since his off-season trade from the Chicago Cubs to the Miami Marlins during his shutout against the Houston Astros.

The player has been involved in various disciplinary incidents during his Chicago tenure, including some brawls with teammates, and finally these incidents triggered his trade to Miami. “The Bull” (as nicknamed by Latin baseball fans) have neither fight since he was traded.

Today, the South Florida franchise is managed by fellow Venezuelan Ozzie Guillén. Zambrano, besides this win, have a record of 2 losses, 32 strikeouts and an 1.98 ERA at current season. His career totals are of 126 wins, 83 losses, a 3.57 ERA y 1,574 strikeouts.
