Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was on Afghanistan official visit today. Suddenly before leaving the Kabul Airport, Modi Tweeted “‘I’m Looking Forward to Meet Pakistan counterpart PM Nawaz Sharif at Lahore today afternoon”.

The details of the unplanned and surprised meet up have worked out, Pakistani Foreign Ministry spokesman Qazi Khalilullah told state television for confirmation.After Modi’s visits, he will be the first Indian Prime Minister to visit Pakistan since 2004. Pakistan has too been confirmed Modi visit to the Heart city of Pakistan Lahore, where he will meet Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif on his birthday. Appreciation from Indian Foriegn Minister also tweeted ” “That’s like a statesman,” “One should have such relations with the neighbors,”.

Heavy security arrangements have made around the Lahore city and Airport for security measures. The relations between India and Pakistan have witnessed some positive developments after chill for few months. This meeting will be the background of previous Nawaz Modi meetings. Mr. Modi arrived around 4:30 p.m. and stopped for a couple of hours at Mr. Sharif’s sprawling estate on the outskirts of Lahore. The U.S. too welcomed this visit. “Better relations between neighbors Pakistan and India will benefit the people of the entire region,” said State Department spokesman John Kirby.
